"I Must Read, Read, and Read. It is my Vocation." - Thomas Merton
This is where I chronicle my reading life. I also blog about writing at Lacey's Late-night Editing.
Yes, this is the new book that arrived in the mail today from Paperbackswap.
Why would I want to read such a thing?
Truth be told, I am nervous about cracking this spine. There are some things I don't really want to doubt, God and love among them. I think this will be an unsettling read.
But the year in reading suggestions challenge for September is to read a book from an opposing viewpoint. So when this book came up on PBS ... well, I couldn't resist. Here's to an opposing viewpoint!
[Note: this book actually arrived on February 10, but I already had posts lined up through February 12, so I couldn't resist the irony of posing this on Valentine's Day. To all those who have had enough sentimentality!]
